Plume Imagery in Parallel and Perpendicular Winds

Here are two images of a plume at slightly different times in moderately windy conditions – the wind focuses the plume into a thin line. On the left, the wind is perpendicular to our field of view, and on the right, the wind is coming directly at us. By looking at plumes at different times as the wind direction changes and using analytics, more accurate leak pinpointing and quantification can be achieved.
